Privacy

This is a hobby website for a World of Warcraft guild. We keep as little as possible, and only to run the guild.

When you apply

The Apply form sends your character name, class and spec, main role, Discord username, raid experience and the text you write. It is posted to our officers' private Discord channel and saved on the officers' page so we can reply and keep track. Officers may add a short note and a status (e.g. "trial"). We delete applications when they are no longer needed, or whenever you ask.

To block spam bots, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that runs in your browser. It does not ask you to solve puzzles and is not used to track you.

When you log in with Discord (wishlist)

Logging in lets you save your raid wishlist. We only ask Discord for your account ID and your nickname in our Discord server, and check that you are a member of the server. We never see your password or email address.

A small login cookie (dm_session) keeps you logged in for 30 days. Log out removes it. Your wishlist picks are visible to everyone on the Wishlist page, together with your nickname.

Loot is matched to you by your nickname in our Discord server; if it isn't your character's name, an officer links your character to your account. Who owns which character is only visible to officers.

Guild records

For running raids, officers keep: who signed up for raids (read from the Raid-Helper bot in our Discord), raid attendance, loot each character received (from the in-game loot addon), and short officer notes. These are only visible to officers, except that the Wishlist shows a "Received" mark on items you wished for and got.

Character names, gear and stats on the Roster pages come from Blizzard's public game data.

The site also keeps a short activity log for officers: for example "application sent", "wishlist saved", "logged in" or a refused attempt, with the time and the name of who did it. It does not store IP addresses (for refused attempts only the country). Log entries are deleted automatically after 90 days.

Visitor statistics and hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits; it does not use cookies and does not identify you. No advertising, no selling of data, no third-party trackers.

Item tooltips are loaded from Wowhead; when you hover an item link, your browser talks to Wowhead.

Your choices

You can ask an officer on our Discord to see, correct or delete anything we keep about you, for example an old application or your wishlist. We'll do it as soon as we can.
